Eco School

Pembroke Primary School is thrilled to have gained the Bronze Eco-school award and is actively working towards the Silver Award.

The Eco-school committee is made up of staff and pupils who meet and discuss the way forward.

We recycle our waste paper and our cardboard is collected by Wormtec. Bags are found outside Mrs. Thomas?s and Mrs. Sims?s classrooms.  We have compost bins for disposal of our green waste.

The children have taken part in a survey on energy use in the home and participated in a presentation looking at ways of reducing energy consumption, both in school and at home.
